Originally trained as a doctor, he began performing stand-up in the 1990s and went full-time after a nomination for the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2006. A familiar voice on radio and face on television, Paul has appeared on Just A Minute, The News Quiz, QI, Would I Lie to You?, and Taskmaster. He's also a star of ITV's The Chase, where his sharp wit and knowledge have made him a household name.
